The restuarant chain Sticks’n’Sushi uses InfoSuite for budgeting and has been able to quit their budget spreadsheets. That has led to a number of advantages.
From spreadsheets to InfoSuite Budget
Prior to implementing InfoSuite, budgeting at Sticks’n’Sushi was made in spreadsheets.
Figures were imported to their ERP system, and an add-on enabled them to withdraw data. Only one person in the entire company knew how to do this. Now, with all indicators and information included in InfoSuite Budget, the information is accessible to all employees.
”The budget templates in InfoSuite allow all employees to find data in a specific month or period, and everybody can see the invoices saved in the system. That has saved me a lot of time, since I usually had to find the figures for the employees when budgets were to be made” Hoang Bao Nguyen, Business Controller at Sticks’n’Sushi, explains.
By reducing the manual processes of Hoang, Sticks’n’Sushi has removed a bottleneck and made it possible for the employees to access budgets when needed.
”We already see the value of this. The staff no longer depend on me; they are able to see and find the drafts when preparing their budgets. Earlier, I had to withdraw the figures for them. So that saves me a lot of time”, says Hoang Bao Nguyen.
Likewise, it is a great advantage that Sticks’n’Sushi in their financial budget can reconcile all figures, and thus avoid making a number of calculations.
“All restaurants enter their figures in InfoSuite on a daily basis. This ensures the validity of the figures, as they can be reconciled immediately“, Hoang explains.
Cooperating with InfoSuite
Despite the fact that the cooperation with InfoSuite has just recently started, the level of satisfaction is high:
”Overall, I am very pleased with InfoSuite. I like the calm tone, and the consultants are very down-to-earth. They keep their promises, which is of great valuet”, says Hoang Bao Nguyen.
Sticks’n’Sushi is a chain of restaurants specializing in sushi and yakitori sticks. The company employs approximately 1100 people in 12 restaurants in Copenhagen, 7 in the UK, and in 1 in Berlin.
