With more than 20 brands, DK Company is one of the three largest fashion companies in Denmark. In order to run a smooth business, the company uses Business Intelligence from InfoSuite.
Sales analyses for every brand
DK Company uses InfoSuite in various areas of their wholesale – among other things to analyse the sale of each brand.
“Each brand follows up on their sales personnel and how they are performing. We have introduction sales reports that are also distributed to all brand managers, so they can see how many customers have been served and compare this to last year as well as this year’s budget”, IT business consultant and BI responsible at DK Company, Carl Christian, explains.
Infosuite is also used to analyse where DK Company has the best chance of ensuring that accounts receivable are paid.
“We have a debt collection department which uses InfoSuite to follow up on which collection agencies it is best to use and where we have the biggest chance of getting our money.”
Detailed retail analyses
InfoSuite collects data and presents them in a user-friendly and clear manner – for example, to retail managers. There are a number of areas where InfoSuite’s retail analyses provide valuable insight for DK Company.
“It is in areas such as basket size, sales throughput, how much the customer puts in the basket, how fast the article is sold in the store. And how many customers visit the store as well as how many of them end up buying something”, Carl Christian Clausen explains.
“For example, there might be articles that sell really well in Copenhagen but do not sell here in Herning. In that case, we need to move the articles to Copenhagen.”
Infosuite also collects information concerning the online stores from Google Analytics and provides an overview of where the advertisement budget is best spent.
Used accros the entire organisation
InfoSuite Business Intelligence is used in many areas at DK Company and by many employees.
“We have more or less 220 users and roughly 450 employees receive a report almost every day”, Carl Christian Clausen explains.
DK Company has used InfoSuite for years, which means that InfoSuite’s consultants have a good insight into the company.
“I think our collaboration with InfoSuite works very well”, Carl Christian Clausen says.
